Work History

For my master’s program I served as project manager on a year long effort to develop visualization tools for the Washington State Department of Natural Resources. My team produces a scalable model of land parcels at risk for forest land use conversion. R code was created using an ensemble method to create an at risk score. This was filtered through Power BI where subject matter experts could use sliders to focus in and pinpoint individual parcels of land so resources can be offered to land owners.

Otherwise I work as a professional artist while I search for employment opportunities. For more details about specific positions see my curriculum vitae. Vitae KCR web

Before working in galleries, I worked in art supply. I became a paper specialist and floor supervisor for Amsterdam Art  in Berkeley California. I worked as fine arts merchandiser for artist brushes in the fine arts department for Pearl Paint in Woodbridge, New Jersey. When I returned to Berkeley, I managed customer service, sales and order fulfillment for ArtSupplySource.com.

Through my connections I have had the chance to work in studios of stained glass, steel/ bronze, oils/ acrylics, encaustics, printmaking, and photography with artists:

Carol Chellino

Dana Rieck

and

Bruce Holmes.

I’ve worked for five galleries:

Elk Hills Galley, La Follette Gallery, Framin’ ArtWorks

Intermittently, I also served as a special event curator for

Studio Tre’ Amiche

worked as gallery assistant for the
